1. What did you learn about photography that you did not know before?
I think that I learned that there is a lot more to taking a picture then just pointing the camera at an object and pressing a button. There is so much more you can do with it to make it a better picture so that it is more interesting and people look at it and they say "oh thats nice." I also learned that nobody is going to become a perfect or even good photographer in this class, but it is more setting the foundation for you to be one.
2. What did you learn about yourself this semester?
That I am not a good photographer. It was more about having fun in this class for me, because I think taking photos is fun, but it was never about making an amazing photo that people would love. I also learned more that it really doesn't matter if someone does not like something as long as I like it thats all that matter, so it helped me to form my own opinions about myself and that work that I did.
3. What do you wish we had done that we did not?
I would have really liked to work on film more, because I just like it a lot more than I like digital.
Maybe we could have worked on different project, but I honestly don't know what they would be. I do not really know a lot about photography so it is hard to be like we should have done this or this when I know nothing about what else we could have done.
4. What was you struggle?
I think that I struggled most with keeping up with all of the projects, at first we did not have a lot so I could take things slow, but then they starting going faster and faster and it became harder for me to keep up with it. It was also hard because, I was gone a lot of the days that you introduced projects, so it was always harder for me tho understand what we were doing for the week. Some times I would forget that a project was due the next day and I would have to spend the whole night finishing it and it just became more stressful to me than it was fun which made it really hard for me to want to do the projects and actually do it to my full ability.
5. What did you conquer?
I learned how to develop film which is something that I thought I would never be able to do. My parents always went to the store to develop film so I never really knew how it happened. I am more proud of myself for doing it because it was really stressful, and it took a long time, but I was happy with the way that my picture came out.
